Mark Goodman is a highly-skilled litigator and a founding shareholder of Capes, Sokol, Goodman & Sarachan, P.C. Drawing on more than 38 years of legal experience, he counsels clients in the areas of commercial litigation, including real estate and employment related matters. He is co-chair of the firm’s litigation group.Mr. Goodman has tried cases in state and federal courts in several states and is admitted to practice in Missouri and Illinois, as well as the U.S. District Courts of Missouri and Illinois, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh and Eighth Circuits and the U.S. Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a certified mediator.
Mr. Goodman has been an adjunct professor at St. Louis University School of Law. He also lectures regularly for local and national Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs. Mr. Goodman is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA) and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL). He also serves on the Board of Directors for UrbanFUTURE, a mentoring organization, and volunteers as one of the organization’s mentors. He has served on the Capes, Sokol, Goodman, & Sarachan Executive Committee for the last two years.
