Hon. Timothy J. Wilson
Professional Experience:
Timothy J. Wilson was a Circuit Court Judge for the 22nd Judicial Circuit Court in Missouri, serving St. Louis. He was appointed to the bench on May 15, 1989, and retained to the court in 1990, 1996, 2002 and 2008. Wilson retired in December 2017, when he reached the mandatory retirement age.
Hon. Wilson earned an undergraduate degree and a J.D. from St. Louis University. Prior to joining the bench, he served as a trial attorney in the Department of Justice Honors Program in Washington, D.C., worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri and as a trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice Honors Program.
He is active in the Boy Scouts of America, the Old Newsboy Day charity and the Saint Louis Hills Neighborhood Association. He also spends time mentoring Chinese and Japanese law students from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
