Professional Experience:
John “Jack” Garvey served as a Circuit Court Trial Judge for the City of St Louis where he presided over hundreds of jury trials including mass torts and complex litigation. He currently is with the firm of Carey, Danis & Lowe concentrating his practice on pharmaceutical products and defective medical device litigation. Garvey also served as an adjunct Professor at the law schools of both St. Louis University and Washington University where he taught evidence and trial advocacy.Jack is admitted to the Missouri Bar and earned his bachelor’s degree from St. Louis University and his law degree from Rutgers University. A former Alderman for the 14th Ward in the City of St. Louis and Assistant Circuit Attorney, Garvey received the “Man of the Year” Award from the Missouri Coalition Against Domestic Violence and served as President of the Board of Director for the St. Louis Public Library from 1999-2006.
