Professional Experience:
As a bilingual (Spanish/English) attorney practicing law in the Saint Louis Metropolitan Area for over 30 years, I have successfully handled a substantial number of cases from the initial interview through discovery, motion practice, mediation, settlement, trial and appeal. I have tried numerous jury trials as first chair. During my prior employment at several civil litigation firms, I served as co-counsel or second chair in dozens of cases and jury trials. In addition, I have briefed and/or argued or assisted with the briefing of over 20 appeals throughout my career. I completed the University of Missouri School of Law, Missouri Supreme Court Rule 17 mediation training, which included the necessary requirements set out in Rule 16-6.03(A)(2) of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. I serve as a volunteer mediator in the Missouri Bar Fee Dispute Program. The Missouri Supreme Court appointed me as a Disciplinary Hearing Officer. Since 2013 I have had my own law office in the City of St. Louis.
